Due to rising tourism in the town, new buildings are being built. Still, they are being built in the old way, with wood and with bamboo shingles. Concrete is cheaper but very difficult to bring up the mountain. They are very intricate with their woodwork, and each house is beautiful with it’s own unique characteristics
